CHUCK HAFNER'S GARDEN CENTER//
The idea behind Chuck Hafner's Garden Center initially came about in 1908, when Chuck Hafner's father, George Hafner, emigrated with his family from Germany to America and began to support his family with farming. The business began as a means to sell fresh fruits and vegetables to the Regional Market and local grocery stores. Over the next couple decades, Chuck Hafner took on the family business and expanded it with numerous retail additions and greenhouses. Chuck Hafner's Garden Center has now grown to 65,000 square feet of retail space, a 7 acre nursery, and four acres of a growing greenhouse, known as one of the premier Garden Centers in the nation.
Chuck Hafner's Garden Center is collaborating with Buffalo ReUse to deconstruct the family Hafner Barn, and is working with CabFab to reuse the materials to create new furniture for the Hafner's Garden Center.
